Should Georgia be No. 1 in the AP Top 25 after Week 1? (1:04)

The defending national champion Georgia moved up to the second spot in the first Associated Press college football poll.

Alabama received 44 of 63 first-place votes and 1,552 points to remain at the top of the AP Top 25 presented by Regions Bank.

The gap between the two teams narrowed after the Oregon game. Georgia got 17 first place votes.

Ohio State got two first place votes. The University of Michigan moved up in the rankings.

There was a drop in the number of teams in the top five.
