There will be a live stream of the Connect Conference on October 11. The company will cover the progress it has made on the metaverse and give a look at what is to come in the near and far future. At last year's Connect, the company changed its name from Facebook to Meta, but the announcements didn't measure up.

The company is going to announce a new virtual reality headset in October, and Mark Zuckerberg backed up that idea with a picture he posted to Facebook. The device he is wearing in the photo is very similar to what we have already seen.

Looks like Cambria to me (though that almost certainly won’t be its final name).

Eye and facial tracking, as well as color passthrough, will be included in the headset, which is rumored to have a higher-res screen than the current one. It will be more expensive than the Quest 2, which recently went up to $399.99.

There will be details about major updates to the game at the conference. People can use the company's flagship metaverse app, which allows them to create their own experiences and hang out in virtual reality The low-quality graphics of theScreenshot ofHorizon earned it a lot of ridicule and made it the subject of a lot of meme. We should hear more about the Meta CEO's upgrade plans on October 11th.

The metaverse will be the future and the company is spending billions of dollars a year trying to make that happen. I think it will try to convince the public that it should be paying attention to the metaverse instead of making fun of it.
