The affidavit states that the footage showed a black Terrain passing and the victim running by. There appeared to be a struggle when the man forced the victim into the passenger's side of the car. The car was parked in the parking lot for a while.

Police said that Abston was wearing the sandals the day before they were found with his DNA on them.

A woman interviewed by investigators said she saw Abston clean the car's interior on Friday. Mario Abston told police that he had seen his brother wash his clothes in the sink.
