The first in the series to support up to 200MP images is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and hopefully, this will improve the camera performance of phones in this tier.

It will be a lot more convenient. Peak download speeds can be achieved with the help of the X62 5G modem. It is the first time that support for wi-fi 6e is available. The chip will allow for more vibrant gaming with support for 60 frames per second or more.

We won't see this chip in action until the first quarter of 2023, as phones based on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 aren't scheduled to launch until then. The chip is going to be used in a phone in the future.

It will be interesting to see how the chip stacks up to the other phones. The flagship-level Tensor chip makes the phone great value for a mid-range phone.

Lower-end phones are going to get a much-needed boost thanks to the improved performance of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 compared to the previous version. The support for FHD+ 120hz displays is still in place.

The cameras in the 4-series can now be upgraded to a higher resolution. It's likely that we'll see the 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor trickle down to the low-end with newer phones and the company already preparing for it.

iQOO will be one of the first to launch a device powered by the chip when it arrives this quarter.
