The chipmaker is introducing its latest mid-range chipsets to bring more flagship features to lower cost phones. The first two series to receive the new naming scheme are the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 gets a number of improvements over the previous year's version. The new 6-series chip comes with a 7th Gen artificial intelligence engine that can be used for smarter processing. It's more efficient and it helps improve features that are powered by artificial intelligence.
The first in the series to support up to 200MP images is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and hopefully, this will improve the camera performance of phones in this tier.
It will be a lot more convenient. Peak download speeds can be achieved with the help of the X62 5G modem. It is the first time that support for wi-fi 6e is available. The chip will allow for more vibrant gaming with support for 60 frames per second or more.
