According to Tim Keown, Carr went all out to get Adams from Green Bay.

Carr said he was egregious.

Carr called Adams after the Raiders lost in the playoffs.

Whenever you need me, I'm ready. Carr told Adams to "let's figure this thing out".

After the Packers lost to the 49ers, Carr returned to recruiting Adams.

Carr said that he would not lie. I sent him a text the day after. I was unable to help myself.

The Packers placed the franchise tag on Adams in hopes of getting him to a long-term deal, but he decided to leave the team. The Raiders signed Adams to a five-year contract after he was traded from Green Bay.

There is no such thing as player-to- player tampering, so everything Carr did was on the level. Between the end of the season and the trade, he recruited Adams.

The move was orchestrated by the Packers.

Carr said that he got his friend back. That is the cool part.

Carr made the comments while reading a piece on Adams about the Raiders' biggest acquisition of the off-season.

The Raiders have a new general manager, Dave Ziegler, and a new head coach, Josh McDaniels, who were both hired from New England.

Four-time Pro Bowl edge-rusher Chandler Jones was added to the mix by the Raiders.

The offense finished just 18th in points scored. He is part of a unit with talents such as Hunter Renfrow. The season will start at the Los Angeles Clippers.
