GoPro ‘Mini’ leaks in a nod to the Session cameras of yesterday

The Hero 11 Black may not be the only camera the company releases. The leaked images show a small surprise that seems like a modern iteration of the Session action cam.

The device is said to be called the Hero 11 Black Mini. There is a large camera sensor on the front along with a single button on the bottom for mounting. The Mini looks like a shrunken-down version of the upcoming Hero 11 Black, only it doesn't have a display on the front or back.

The Session cameras had no displays and a more compact design, but that is where the similarities between them end. The Session was cut from the lineup when it was introduced.

There isn't any information about how powerful the camera sensor and other internals on the Mini will be. While the appearance of the standard Hero 11 Black will reportedly remain unchanged, it could come with an upgraded sensor that is capable of shooting 27 million still images and 24 million video stills. It is rumored to retain the same 5.3K video shooting capabilities at 60 frames per second, or 120 frames per second. WinFuture is expecting a powerful device in a smaller package for the Mini, but no confirmation has been made.
