In the fourth round of the US Open, he beat Nadal in a four-set match. There is a time and a place for it.
His night got even better just over an hour after he upset Nadal in front of a near-capacity crowd at the US Open.
After he got back to the locker room, he looked at his phone and saw a message from King James.
James posted a video of the match's final moments on his website. You were the one who earned it. It wasn't believable to Tiafoe.
"I was losing it in the locker room," he said. I was insane.
He wanted to at least look like he was not making a big deal.
I was wondering if I would follow him after he sent it. I was going to be cool and act like I didn't see it, and then I was going to share it.
In some of his post match celebrations, he has called James "my guy". He said Rich Paul sent him a text after the match to wish him well.
Bradley was sitting in his player box during the game.
It was the first time that Beal attended a tennis match.
He wants to come back. It was nice. It was special for me.
