Bills fans and others have raised over $200,000 for the P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative in the name of the tight end. The brothers had their numbers combined and some of it came in smaller amounts. A lot of money was raised in the first day after the news of her death was made public.
"We want to thank Buffalo and Bills Mafia everywhere for the incredible amount of support and love shown to our family," David and Rachel said in a statement. "Never would we have thought that we would have to deal with something like this, but we know these gifts will help so many families."
He said he was not surprised to see the support because of the city's fan base.
