There was a report published on September 5, 2022.

Have you ever wondered how the NFL season would play out before Week 1 started? Now you have your wish for the year 2022. Mike Clay was asked by us to crunch the numbers and project the passing lines for every quarterback match up. All the games were yes. The most anticipated opponents are highlighted in yards, touchdown, passer rating and more. The top performers of the season areClay's fantasy tips for the entire season. You may learn something if you dig in.

WEEK 1 CAN'T-MISS MATCHUP You thought we'd highlight a different game here? Russell Wilson’s first season in Denver starts with a return to the city he brought a Super Bowl title to in 2013. Geno Smith will be starting for the the Seahawks after winning the QB battle against Drew Lock -- who was also included in the megatrade that landed Wilson with the Broncos. This one will be fun. Allen: 268 passing yards, 2 TDs Stafford: 266 passing yards, 2 TDs Winston: 225 passing yards, 2 TDs Mariota: 233 passing yards, 1 TD Lance: 211 passing yards, 2 TDs Fields: 226 passing yards, 1 TD Trubisky: 262 passing yards, 1 TD Burrow: 249 passing yards, 2 TDs Hurts: 227 passing yards, 2 TDs Goff: 243 passing yards, 1 TD Jones: 237 passing yards, 2 TDs Tagovailoa: 247 passing yards, 2 TDs Jackson: 222 passing yards, 2 TDs Flacco: 259 passing yards, 1 TD Lawrence: 240 passing yards, 1 TD Wentz: 237 passing yards, 2 TDs Brissett: 208 passing yards, 1 TD Mayfield: 248 passing yards, 1 TD Ryan: 241 passing yards, 2 TDs Mills: 252 passing yards, 1 TD Jones: 248 passing yards, 1 TD Tannehill: 211 passing yards, 2 TDs Rodgers: 270 passing yards, 2 TDs Cousins: 256 passing yards, 2 TDs Mahomes: 294 passing yards, 3 TDs Murray: 266 passing yards, 2 TDs Carr: 276 passing yards, 2 TDs Herbert: 263 passing yards, 2 TDs Brady: 290 passing yards, 2 TDs Prescott: 279 passing yards, 2 TDs

The final game of the season is on Sunday, and it should be a great one. Tom Brady is the only quarterback projected to go over 40 pass attempts this week, and he will be facing two of the top quarterbacks in the game. The two teams met in the first week of the season last year, and they combined for 782 passing yards and seven touchdown.

There was a top tier at the quarterback position in this summer's draft, with Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Justin Herbert all leaving their mark. There is a tier of three at the position, but in Week 1 there is a new one. Hurts is expected to pass and run against the Lions. He finished each of those weeks as a top six fantasy quarterback.

Completion percentage for Derek Carr in Week 2 (24 for 36) Herbert: 284 passing yards, 2 TDs Mahomes: 293 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 236 passing yards, 1 TD Brissett: 209 passing yards, 1 TD Wentz: 241 passing yards, 2 TDs Goff: 231 passing yards, 2 TDs Brady: 286 passing yards, 2 TDs Winston: 234 passing yards, 1 TD Mayfield: 243 passing yards, 1 TD Jones: 240 passing yards, 1 TD Jones: 231 passing yards, 1 TD Trubisky: 244 passing yards, 1 TD Ryan: 243 passing yards, 2 TDs Lawrence: 240 passing yards, 1 TD Tagovailoa: 255 passing yards, 2 TDs Jackson: 217 passing yards, 2 TDs Mariota: 246 passing yards, 1 TD Stafford: 255 passing yards, 2 TDs Smith: 246 passing yards, 1 TD Lance: 210 passing yards, 2 TDs Burrow: 266 passing yards, 2 TDs Prescott: 282 passing yards, 2 TDs Mills: 261 passing yards, 1 TD Wilson: 245 passing yards, 2 TDs Murray: 259 passing yards, 2 TDs Carr: 259 passing yards, 2 TDs Fields: 229 passing yards, 1 TD Rodgers: 250 passing yards, 3 TDs Tannehill: 226 passing yards, 1 TD Allen: 251 passing yards, 3 TDs Cousins: 270 passing yards, 2 TDs Hurts: 224 passing yards, 2 TDs

It might be good news for Justin Herbert that the week begins with a game. In his only two career trips to Kansas City, he has put up 583 yards, 7 touchdown and no turnovers. In Week 2, they are both projected to pass for over 300 yards.

It's a down week for the GOAT. Tom Brady offers up his worst fantasy performance of the season with his team heading to New Orleans to face a loaded defense. If you want to watch a streamer this week, you should consider Daniel Jones or Carson Wentz.

WEEK 3 CAN'T-MISS MATCHUP Will the Aaron Rodgers-Tom Brady showdown in Tampa live up to the hype? Rodgers has dropped three straight head-to-head matchups with Brady, losing by an average of 15.7 points and completing an un-MVP-like 57.9% of his passes. Expect both to clear 35 pass attempts in what projects as a tight game.

This is the spot if there is a week to consider a candidate. During the first half of the season, he and the Bears host a Houston team that is shaky at best. Fields is a good option if you want to avoid Wilson and Lance.

WEEK 4 CAN'T-MISS MATCHUP Can you name the only two QBs over the past three seasons to have a QBR over 60 with at least 1,100 rushing yards? If you guessed Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, who square off in Week 4, you'd be right. Bills-Ravens could be an early AFC postseason litmus test.

Tom Brady has the highest projected pass attempts, completions and passing yards of any quarterback this season. He led the position in top 10 fantasy finishes last season and is going to be throwing it a lot in order to keep up with the competition.

Passing yards for Ryan Tannehill in Week 5 Ryan: 248 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 249 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 247 passing yards, 1 TD Rodgers: 256 passing yards, 2 TDs Trubisky: 249 passing yards, 1 TD Allen: 241 passing yards 3 TDs Herbert: 261 passing yards, 2 TDs Brissett: 221 passing yards, 1 TD Fields: 236 passing yards, 1 TD Cousins: 248 passing yards, 2 TDs Goff: 238 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 247 passing yards, 1 TD Smith: 249 passing yards, 1 TD Winston: 222 passing yards, 2 TDs Tagovailoa: 249 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 235 passing yards, 2 TDs Mariota: 240 passing yards, 1 TD Brady: 275 passing yards, 3 TDs Tannehill: 223 passing yards, 2 TDs Wentz: 231 passing yards, 2 TDs Mills: 259 passing yards, 1 TD Lawrence: 239 passing yards, 2 TDs Lance: 212 passing yards, 2 TDs Mayfield: 249 passing yards, 1 TD Prescott: 290 passing yards, 2 TDs Stafford: 266 passing yards, 2 TDs Hurts: 228 passing yards, 2 TDs Murray: 259 passing yards, 2 TDs Burrow: 269 passing yards, 2 TDs Jackson: 230 passing yards, 2 TDs Carr: 277 passing yards, 2 TDs Mahomes: 282 passing yards, 3 TDs

Patrick has a 7-1 record against the Raiders, with an average of 318.6 passing yards and 2.8 passing touchdown in those games. He's going to be busy this week against an improved Vegas team, and he's going to push for 40 passes.

With the Rams on the slate this week and the Eagles on deck, the projection shows him with his top two games in terms of passing yards. If you are looking for a trade for help with the quarterback, keep that in mind.

WEEK 6 CAN'T-MISS MATCHUP Did you know the NFC East hasn't had a repeat champion since the 2004 Eagles? Dak Prescott and the Cowboys won it last season, but Jalen Hurts' Eagles are on the rise. The QB who gets the best of this matchup could put his team on the early track to a division title. Wentz: 231 passing yards, 2 TDs Fields: 222 passing yards, 1 TD Lance: 210 passing yards, 2 TDs Mariota: 231 passing yards, 1 TD Jones: 249 passing yards, 1 TD Brissett: 209 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 240 passing yards, 1 TD Rodgers: 256 passing yards, 2 TDs Lawrence: 243 passing yards, 1 TD Ryan: 240 passing yards, 2 TDs Cousins: 256 passing yards, 2 TDs Tagovailoa: 254 passing yards, 2 TDs Burrow: 264 passing yards, 2 TDs Winston: 237 passing yards, 2 TDs Jackson: 214 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 249 passing yards, 1 TD Brady: 274 passing yards, 2 TDs Trubisky: 253 passing yards, 1 TD Mayfield: 264 passing yards, 1 TD Stafford: 258 passing yards, 2 TDs Murray: 253 passing yards, 2 TDs Smith: 248 passing yards, 2 TDs Allen: 273 passing yards, 3 TDs Mahomes: 279 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 267 passing yards, 2 TDs Herbert: 265 passing yards, 2 TDs

All eyes will be on the quarterbacks when the Broncos and the Bolts play on Monday night. Russell Wilson will have had five weeks to adjust to life in Denver after throwing for 300 yards in half of his division games.

Josh Allen's projection shows him pacing the position in fantasy points by nearly three points, the second-widest gap between quarterbacks this season. Allen goes to Detroit in Week 12.

Total passing TDs for Jameis Winston through Week 7 Winston: 238 passing yards, 2 TDs Murray: 250 passing yards, 2 TDs Mariota: 246 passing yards, 1 TD Burrow: 249 passing yards, 2 TDs Goff: 242 passing yards, 2 TDs Prescott: 275 passing yards, 3 TDs Ryan: 242 passing yards, 2 TDs Tannehill: 221 passing yards, 2 TDs Rodgers: 258 passing yards, 2 TDs Wentz: 232 passing yards, 1 TD Brady: 281 passing yards, 2 TDs Mayfield: 256 passing yards, 1 TD Jones: 252 passing yards, 2 TDs Lawrence: 229 passing yards, 2 TDs Brissett: 219 passing yards, 1 TD Jackson: 214 passing yards, 2 TDs Z. Wilson: 245 passing yards, 2 TDs R. Wilson: 248 passing yards, 2 TDs Mills: 259 passing yards, 1 TD Carr: 252 passing yards, 2 TDs Smith: 261 passing yards, 1 TD Herbert: 256 passing yards, 3 TDs Mahomes: 285 passing yards, 2 TDs Lance: 229 passing yards, 2 TDs Trubisky: 246 passing yards, 1 TD Tagovailoa: 237 passing yards, 2 TDs Fields: 228 passing yards, 1 TD Jones: 230 passing yards, 2 TDs

After barely seeing the field as a first year player, Patrick Mahomes lit the NFL world ablaze with a historic sophomore campaign. In Week 7, there is a chance that Trey Lance could have a big day. He expects a season high in pass and rush in this game.

For the first time this season, the top scorer in fantasy football is the quarterback. He is a lineup lock most weeks, but Daniel Jones is not and could be a good streamer in Week 7.

WEEK 8 CAN'T-MISS MATCHUP It’s the battle of QBs in new places, with Carson Wentz leading the Commanders at Matt Ryan’s Colts. Wentz, on his third team in three years, could play his way into a new contract -- or into a backup role. Ryan, meanwhile, has a chance to put his Hall of Fame candidacy over the top after 14 seasons in Atlanta (with one MVP). Jackson: 229 passing yards, 2 TDs Brady: 289 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 257 passing yards, 2 TDs Lawrence: 242 passing yards, 2 TDs Mayfield: 247 passing yards, 2 TDs Mariota: 226 passing yards, 2 TDs Fields: 231 passing yards, 1 TD Prescott: 265 passing yards, 2 TDs Tagovailoa: 254 passing yards, 2 TDs Goff: 231 passing yards, 2 TDs Murray: 264 passing yards, 2 TDs Cousins: 259 passing yards, 2 TDs Carr: 262 passing yards, 2 TDs Winston: 228 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 240 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 236 passing yards, 2 TDs Trubisky: 259 passing yards, 1 TD Hurts: 208 passing yards, 2 TDs Tannehill: 222 passing yards, 2 TDs Mills: 251 passing yards, 1 TD Lance: 230 passing yards, 1 TD Stafford: 265 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 245 passing yards, 2 TDs Smith: 234 passing yards, 2 TDs Rodgers: 260 passing yards, 2 TDs Allen: 251 passing yards, 2 TDs Burrow: 257 passing yards, 2 TDs Brissett: 220 passing yards, 1 TD

On Thursday Night Football, the Ravens and the Buccaneers will face off in a game. Lamar Jackson is projected for his highest pass volume of the season, so watch out for him.

One of the best games of the season will take place in Week 8 when Rodgers and Allen face off. Don't be surprised if the game isn't an offensive bonanza because both Green Bay and Buffalo have good defenses. The two quarterbacks project for their lowest statistical outputs of the season.

Jared Goff's total passer rating in two games vs. Green Bay Hurts: 219 passing yards, 2 TDs Mills: 261 passing yards, 1 TD Herbert: 259 passing yards, 2 TDs Mariota: 242 passing yards, 1 TD Tagovailoa: 243 passing yards, 2 TDs Fields: 223 passing yards, 1 TD Mayfield: 264 passing yards, 1 TD Burrow: 252 passing yards, 2 TDs Rodgers: 266 passing yards, 2 TDs Goff: 234 passing yards, 1 TD Ryan: 242 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 235 passing yards, 2 TDs Allen: 256 passing yards, 3 TDs Wilson: 235 passing yards, 1 TD Cousins: 258 passing yards, 2 TDs Wentz: 239 passing yards, 2 TDs Carr: 265 passing yards, 2 TDs Lawrence: 239 passing yards, 2 TDs Smith: 254 passing yards, 2 TDs Murray: 246 passing yards, 2 TDs Stafford: 280 passing yards, 2 TDs Brady: 290 passing yards, 2 TDs Tannehill: 241 passing yards, 2 TDs Mahomes: 280 passing yards, 3 TDs Jackson: 225 passing yards, 2 TDs Winston: 232 passing yards, 2 TDs

Matthew Stafford did not fare well against playoff teams in the regular season, even though he won a Super Bowl. He threw multiple picks in three of the losses, and that won't work against Brady.

In Detroit this week, Rodgers projects his highest finish at the position of the season and one of three top-five finishes he has during the second half of the next decade. Tua Tagovailoa is against the Chicago defense.

WEEK 10 CAN'T-MISS MATCHUP Kyler Murray and Matthew Stafford both signed new long-term contracts this offseason, but one QB is coming off a Super Bowl title, while the other had one of the worst performances of his career in his final game (7.9 QBR!) of the 2021 season -- which came against Stafford’s Rams. Can Murray and the Cardinals put everything together? Ridder: 224 passing yards, 2 TDs Mayfield: 242 passing yards, 2 TDs Smith: 256 passing yards, 1 TD Brady: 276 passing yards, 3 TDs Cousins: 261 passing yards, 2 TDs Allen: 257 passing yards, 3 TDs Goff: 236 passing yards, 2 TDs Fields: 226 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 253 passing yards, 2 TDs Tannehill: 225 passing yards, 2 TDs Lawrence: 258 passing yards, 2 TDs Mahomes: 285 passing yards, 3 TDs Brissett: 212 passing yards, 1 TD Tagovailoa: 240 passing yards, 2 TDs Mills: 248 passing yards, 1 TD Jones: 242 passing yards, 2 TDs Winston: 221 passing yards, 2 TDs Pickett: 235 passing yards, 1 TD Ryan: 245 passing yards, 2 TDs Carr: 255 passing yards, 2 TDs Prescott: 279 passing yards, 2 TDs Rodgers: 257 passing yards, 2 TDs Herbert: 266 passing yards, 2 TDs Lance: 227 passing yards, 2 TDs Wentz: 246 passing yards, 2 TDs Hurts: 215 passing yards, 2 TDs

The Carolina and New Orleans quarterbacks are both rookies and are expected to start this week. Both of them are likely to load up the box score. In Week 10, he is projected for at least 32 pass attempts and 23 rushing yards.

Patrick Mahomes owns his highest projection of the season because he hosts the Jags this week. He has accomplished more than 300 passing yards 31 times in the last year. Streamers should pay attention to Daniel Jones andJustin Fields.

WEEK 11 CAN'T-MISS MATCHUP Justin Herbert has yet to beat Patrick Mahomes' Chiefs in a home game, losing in overtime in both instances. Will that change in Week 11? Both project as top-three fantasy QBs this week, with each over 275 yards and Herbert No. 1 at the position in touchdown passes.

This week against Detroit, Daniel Jones has stood out as a possible streaming option. His projection of 18 points is his highest of the season.

Total passing yards for Baker Mayfield through Week 12 Allen: 262 passing yards, 3 TDs Goff: 233 passing yards, 1 TD Jones: 250 passing yards, 1 TD Prescott: 261 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 248 passing yards, 2 TDs Cousins: 253 passing yards, 2 TDs Brady: 280 passing yards, 2 TDs Brissett: 216 passing yards, 1 TD Burrow: 262 passing yards, 2 TDs Tannehill: 232 passing yards, 2 TDs Mills: 255 passing yards, 1 TD Tagovailoa: 242 passing yards, 2 TDs Fields: 229 passing yards, 1 TD Wilson: 232 passing yards, 2 TDs Ridder: 225 passing yards, 1 TD Wentz: 225 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 249 passing yards, 2 TDs Mayfield: 253 passing yards, 1 TD Jackson: 226 passing yards, 2 TDs Lawrence: 244 passing yards, 1 TD Herbert: 274 passing yards, 2 TDs Murray: 262 passing yards, 2 TDs Carr: 259 passing yards, 2 TDs Lock: 244 passing yards, 2 TDs Stafford: 290 passing yards, 2 TDs Mahomes: 288 passing yards, 2 TDs Winston: 232 passing yards, 2 TDs Lance: 215 passing yards, 1 TD Rodgers: 270 passing yards, 2 TDs Hurts: 218 passing yards, 2 TDs Pickett: 239 passing yards, 1 TD Ryan: 227 passing yards, 2 TDs

With the support of the home crowd, Drew Lock is projected to replace Geno Smith as the starting quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. Smith is averaging just 249 yards per game up to this point and Lock is projected for more than 200 against the Raiders.

With two months of live action in the books, this is a great place for Tua Tagovailoa. He expects his second-best fantasy effort of the season when his Dolphins host the Texans. Josh Allen projects for 25.3 fantasy points in Detroit on Thanksgiving, which is the highest projected total for a quarterback this season.

WEEK 13 CAN'T-MISS MATCHUP This could be the battle of the unknowns, as Tua Tagovailoa’s Dolphins and Trey Lance’s 49ers are two of the toughest teams to project in 2022. If things are clicking for both QBs, they could be in the MVP discussion. If things are going poorly, well, they might not actually make it to Week 13 as starters -- and their teams could be out of the playoff race. Allen: 257 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 234 passing yards, 1 TD Pickett: 232 passing yards, 2 TDs Ridder: 215 passing yards, 1 TD Rodgers: 256 passing yards, 2 TDs Fields: 224 passing yards, 1 TD Lawrence: 248 passing yards, 2 TDs Goff: 238 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 249 passing yards, 2 TDs Cousins: 254 passing yards, 2 TDs Wentz: 228 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 240 passing yards, 2 TDs Tannehill: 235 passing yards, 2 TDs Hurts: 216 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 261 passing yards, 2 TDs Jackson: 223 passing yards, 2 TDs Watson: 230 passing yards, 2 TDs Mills: 255 passing yards, 1 TD Lock: 259 passing yards, 1 TD Stafford: 259 passing yards, 2 TDs Mahomes: 299 passing yards, 2 TDs Burrow: 273 passing yards, 2 TDs Herbert: 269 passing yards, 2 TDs Carr: 267 passing yards, 2 TDs Ryan: 246 passing yards, 2 TDs Prescott: 271 passing yards, 2 TDs Winston: 240 passing yards, 2 TDs Brady: 279 passing yards, 2 TDs

The Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson match up could have an impact on the wild card. The quarterbacks project for over 300 yards of offense. The second game of the playoffs will be between the Chiefs and theBengals. In a game in which he'll be required to throw more than usual, Burrow should see a boost in pass volume.

Hurts is projected to be a top- three quarterback 11 times this season. It's important to keep that in mind as you prepare for the playoffs.

Passer rating for Kirk Cousins in Week 14 Carr: 272 passing yards, 2 TDs Stafford: 266 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 240 passing yards, 1 TD Allen: 250 passing yards, 3 TDs Watson: 245 passing yards, 2 TDs Burrow: 260 passing yards, 2 TDs Mills: 260 passing yards, 1 TD Prescott: 268 passing yards, 2 TDs Cousins: 265 passing yards, 2 TDs Goff: 240 passing yards, 2 TDs Lawrence: 242 passing yards, 2 TDs Tannehill: 223 passing yards, 2 TDs Hurts: 214 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 252 passing yards, 1 TD Jackson: 214 passing yards, 2 TDs Pickett: 239 passing yards, 1 TD Tagovailoa: 262 passing yards, 2 TDs Herbert: 258 passing yards, 2 TDs Brady: 285 passing yards, 2 TDs Lance: 223 passing yards, 2 TDs Mayfield: 251 passing yards, 1 TD1 Lock: 238 passing yards, 2 TDs Mahomes: 292 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 263 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 247 passing yards, 2 TDs Murray: 249 passing yards, 2 TDs

Kansas City at Denver is always going to be an appointment viewing, and is always part of the prime time schedule. Russell Wilson is looking to establish a new hierarchy in this division and has a career record of 29-11-1 in prime time.

There are six weeks in which he is not projected to be fifth in fantasy points. Fantasy managers have bad news. Three of those instances are critical in the next month.

WEEK 15 CAN'T-MISS MATCHUP Joe Burrow has been compared favorably to Tom Brady, but after a surprise run to Super Bowl LVI last season, he still needs nine more title game appearances to catch the GOAT. The Bengals and Bucs both believe they're contenders again, and this matchup could have massive implications for the playoff field. Lance: 214 passing yards, 2 TDs Lock: 243 passing yards, 1 TD Tagovailoa: 249 passing yards, 2 TDs Allen: 248 passing yards, 3 TDs Jackson: 228 passing yards, 2 TDs Watson: 233 passing yards, 2 TDs Ryan: 251 passing yards, 2 TDs Cousins: 254 passing yards, 2 TDs Ridder: 229 passing yards, 1 TD Winston: 218 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 246 passing yards, 2 TDs Wentz: 222 passing yards, 2 TDs Hurts: 217 passing yards, 2 TDs Fields: 232 passing yards, 1 TD Goff: 241 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 239 passing yards, 2 TDs Pickett: 233 passing yards, 1 TD Mayfield: 239 passing yards, 1 TD Prescott: 282 passing yards, 2 TDs Lawrence: 240 passing yards, 2 TDs Mahomes: 286 passing yards, 3 TDs Mills: 266 passing yards, 1 TD Murray: 262 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 253 passing yards, 2 TDs Tannehill: 239 passing yards, 2 TDs Herbert: 259 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 243 passing yards, 2 TDs Carr: 254 passing yards, 2 TDs Stafford: 272 passing yards, 2 TDs Rodgers: 265 passing yards, 2 TDs

The Packers and Rams are two of the favorites to win the Super Bowl. Both Rodgers and Stafford project to surpass their season averages in passing yards, but they might not find the end zone as often as they go toe-to-toe.

Josh Allen leads the quarterback rankings for the second week in a row, but there will be plenty of high-end performances as both Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts have favorable opponents. There is a chance thatZach Wilson could make an appearance on the radar.

WEEK 16 CAN'T-MISS MATCHUP No, the Jaguars and Jets are not likely to be playoff contenders this season, but they have their quarterbacks of the future ... right? Trevor Lawrence, the No. 1 pick in the 2021 draft, faces Zach Wilson, the No. 2 pick in the same draft. They both struggled as rookies but have the talent around them to take a big step forward in 2022. Allen: 252 passing yards, 3 TDs Fields: 223 passing yards, 1 TD Winston: 236 passing yards, 2 TDs Watson: 228 passing yards, 2 TDs Mills: 257 passing yards, 1 TD Tannehill: 216 passing yards, 2 TDs Lock: 265 passing yards, 1 TD Mahomes: 277 passing yards, 3 TDs Jones: 256 passing yards, 2 TDs Cousins: 244 passing yards, 2 TDs Burrow: 264 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 245 passing yards, 1 TD Goff: 237 passing yards, 2 TDs Mayfield: 251 passing yards, 2 TDs Ridder: 234 passing yards, 1 TD Jackson: 210 passing yards, 2 TDs Wentz: 237 passing yards, 1 TD Lance: 211 passing yards, 2 TDs Hurts: 225 passing yards, 2 TDs Prescott: 281 passing yards, 2 TDs Carr: 251 passing yards, 2 TDs Pickett: 234 passing yards, 1 TD Rodgers: 259 passing yards, 2 TDs Tagovailoa: 244 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 265 passing yards, 2 TDs Stafford: 270 passing yards, 2 TDs Brady: 293 passing yards, 2 TDs Murray: 257 passing yards, 2 TDs Herbert: 268 passing yards, 2 TDs Ryan: 249 passing yards, 2 TDs

In his previous seven games against the Eagles, the Cowboys quarterback had averaged 277.3 passing yards. Expect more of the same as he projects for just a hair under 280 yards, the second most on the slate. Tom Brady and Kyler Murray are two intriguing quarterbacks that will be intriguing to watch.

The highest projection for a quarterback in a game this season is for Lamar Jackson against the Falcons. He should be a great daily fantasy player.

WEEK 17 CAN'T-MISS MATCHUP ESPN’s Football Power Index gives all four AFC West teams at least a 46% chance to make the postseason, which means this Broncos-Chiefs matchup could decide things down the stretch. Russell Wilson and Patrick Mahomes each could need a classic MVP moment to help put them over the top in the race. Prescott: 278 passing yards, 2 TDs Tannehill: 221 passing yards, 2 TDs Murray: 250 passing yards, 2 TDs Ridder: 227 passing yards, 2 TDs Fields: 233 passing yards, 2 TDs Goff: 229 passing yards, 2 TDs Tagovailoa: 249 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 232 passing yards, 2 TDs Ryan: 234 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 242 passing yards, 2 TDs Winston: 241 passing yards, 2 TDs Hurts: 217 passing yards, 2 TDs Mayfield: 260 passing yards, 1 TD Brady: 275 passing yards, 3 TDs Watson: 231 passing yards, 2 TDs Wentz: 234 passing yards, 2 TDs Pickett: 245 passing yards, 1 TD Jackson: 208 passing yards, 2 TDs Lawrence: 242 passing yards, 2 TDs Mills: 256 passing yards, 1 TD Lance: 221 passing yards, 2 TDs Carr: 255 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 239 passing yards, 2 TDs Lock: 243 passing yards, 2 TDs Cousins: 262 passing yards, 2 TDs Rodgers: 261 passing yards, 2 TDs Stafford: 286 passing yards, 2 TDs Herbert: 270 passing yards, 2 TDs Allen: 269 passing yards, 2 TDs Burrow: 257 passing yards, 2 TDs

He averaged more than 300 passing yards against playoff teams last season and should do well against Matthew Stafford and the Rams. The top passing game of the week was the one between the two quarterbacks. Stafford's projection is the highest for any quarterback.

Russell Wilson faces the Chiefs for the second time in a month and the projected added pass volume could carry you to a fantasy championship. Wilson has two games against Kansas City in his top fantasy performances. With everything on the line, it's a good idea to keep an eye on the streaming radar.

WEEK 18 CAN'T-MISS MATCHUP Will the AFC East already be decided by Week 18? Mac Jones and the Patriots obviously hope that’s not the case, with Josh Allen’s Bills the heavy favorites in the division. Still, Jones is expected to take a step forward in Year 2, but it might not show much in his overall numbers, especially against a tough Buffalo defense. Brady: 279 passing yards, 2 TDs Ridder: 229 passing yards, 1 TD Cousins: 257 passing yards, 2 TDs Fields: 228 passing yards, 1 TD Jackson: 236 passing yards, 2 TDs Burrow: 263 passing yards, 2 TDs Herbert: 273 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 260 passing yards, 2 TDs Goff: 242 passing yards, 1 TD Rodgers: 256 passing yards, 3 TDs Mills: 258 passing yards, 1 TD Ryan: 233 passing yards, 2 TDs Mahomes: 289 passing yards, 3 TDs Carr: 270 passing yards, 2 TDs Wilson: 239 passing yards, 2 TDs Tagovailoa: 244 passing yards, 2 TDs Mayfield: 254 passing yards, 1 TD Winston: 221 passing yards, 2 TDs Jones: 258 passing yards, 1 TD Hurts: 207 passing yards, 2 TDs Watson: 224 passing yards, 2 TDs Pickett: 236 passing yards, 1 TD Murray: 257 passing yards, 2 TDs Lance: 217 passing yards, 2 TDs Stafford: 267 passing yards, 2 TDs Lock: 253 passing yards, 1 TD Prescott: 276 passing yards, 2 TDs Wentz: 233 passing yards, 2 TDs Tannehill: 228 passing yards, 2 TDs Lawrence: 238 passing yards, 2 TDs

There will be a lot of clarity on a few big questions as we enter Week 18. How large was the loss of Hill? What was the size of the addition of Davante Adams? In the final week of the regular season, the Kansas City and Las Vegas teams face off, and both quarterbacks are projected for two of the highest passing totals. There is a chance of a playoff spot on the line.

It's better than ever. With the loss of Davante Adams, the average draft position of the Packers quarterback has fallen, but he has a home date with the Lions in Week 18. He projects for the highest passing-touchdown projection for any player this season.

MIKE CLAY'S TOP PERFORMERS

If you follow my projections, there should be no surprises. Josh Allen had the best statistical season according to my projections. Allen is the favorite for league Most Valuable Player because of his dual-threat ability. It's quite a feat for the former league Most Valuable Player to come out on top in passing yards and touchdown in a tough schedule. Herbert finished in the top five in passing yards and touchdown percentage. He has a good chance to win the award with the Bolts expected to be one of the best teams.
