Establishing a standard place among Nike's monthly releases since its debut last year, the Air Max 270 Bowfin has now appeared in a new "Celestial Blue/Gold Force" colorway for the fall. With its technical detailing and camping trip-ready colorway, it is unquestionably autumnal with plenty of bold embellishments to boot.

Combining a tan mesh and matching woven fabric accented with thin burgundy/teal stripes on its base layer, this Bowfin then adds blue heel and midfoot overlays constructed out of a cozy fleece-like material. Patterned maroon fabric strips serve as the eyestays for the adjustable toggle lacing system before crashing down onto the midsole for extra texture, completing a top half that's more than slightly Nike ACG-esque.

Heel/tongue pull tabs provide easy on/easy off and complementary tones. Meanwhile, a pockmarked black Phylon foam midsole with a sizable Air Max 270-style heel unit sits atop a toothed outsole, finalizing the look on the shoe's bottom half. Part grueling-backcountry-trek and part brisk-city-stroll, these new Air Max 270 Bowfins are available now at Nike.com. The retail price is set at $160 USD.

Elsewhere in the world of footwear, Converse has given their performance-geared All Star Pro BB a sweltering all-over flame print.
