Imagine this, but with an 11 on the side. That’s the Hero11 Black, apparently.

Although it is getting ready to launch its next camera, don't expect a major redesign. According to the images and specifications first spotted by WinFuture, the Hero11 Black will look similar to the Hero10 and all the important changes will be on the inside.

WinFuture says that the biggest upgrade will be a new sensor that will be capable of 27 images per second. For comparison, the current Hero10 Black shoots 23MP. The new model will have a cap out of 5.3K at 60 frames per second or 4K at 120 frames per second. Even a slightly larger sensor with the same resolution could be a win for low-light shooting.

The upcoming Hero11 Black could be released in the next few weeks.

It looks like the hardware is fine. The Hero9 was a big change for the company two years ago, so it makes sense that they would stick with their basic shape. A new sensor this year would fit the upgrade path since it was the processor that changed last year. There is a blue "11" on the side where there used to be a "10." You know, upgrade. There is a 2.27-inch screen on the back and a 1.4-inch screen on the front.

In February, Nick Woodman told investors that a small improvement would match what he had said. A total of four cameras from the two lines will be launched this year, he said. We expect to expand that further by the end of the year. Software is the main focus of the company, both inside the cameras and in the app. The company is trying to get its cameras into the hands of more than just your typical adventurer.

The Hero11 Black will continue through and through based on what we know. The device could arrive in the middle of the month, according to WinFuture. One of the things that will need to be changed is the price of the small camera.
