Most European countries have stopped requiring masks on planes. Germany was one of the few countries that was not an exception.
The requirement to wear masks on planes is expected to be removed from Germany. In the event that there is a significant increase in cases, the German Health Minister will have the power to impose a mask requirement on planes.
This hasn't been officially announced yet, but is being reported in German media as politicians leak the new agreement. At some point this week, the requirement will be removed.
