The award for Outstanding Animated Program at the Creative Arts ceremony is the fourth animation-related trophy it has received this year.

This is the first time in the history of the award that a streaming-exclusive show has won. There were also non-streaming offerings from Bob's Burgers, The Simpsons, and Rick and Morty. Big Mouth and BoJack Horseman are nominated for an award every year.

The series was released in the fall of 2021. It focuses on a few of the characters from the popular MOBA, including orphans and childhood friends Jinx and Ekko. "When These Walls Come Tumbling Down" is the sixth episode in the series.

Christian Linke said thank you after he picked up the award. It's a big deal for us as we're from a video game. The world has embraced our characters.

“Thank you for this. It’s a big deal for us as we come from video games.”

Despite a drop in subscriber numbers, a second season of the series is still in the works, though there is no word on when it will be released. If you want to learn more about how the show was made, you can watch the documentary series on Riot Game.
