The manager of Burton Albion has resigned.
Two weeks ago, the Dutch man said he would quit if he saw himself as the problem at Burton.
Saturday's loss to Oxford left them with just one point from their first seven games of the season.
The interim boss will be an assistant manager.
The first time he was a manager, he led Burton to the League Two title.
When they were bottom of League One, he came back to lead them to a 16th place finish. In his first full season at the helm, the Brewers finished in the same spot.
The side was still a work in progress before the season started.
He left due to a lack of resources to strengthen.
"I have taken the club as far as I can with the limited resources available and it is time for someone else to come in and inject some new energy," Hasselbaink told Burton's website.
The chairman of Burton thanked the man who brought success to the club.
Robinson said he understood and respected Jimmy's decision to leave.
Less than three months after he decided to stay at Burton to "build for the future", he has left.
The first five weeks of the 2022-23 season have been the most difficult part of the job.
They have conceded 24 goals and failed to score in five of them.
They were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League Two strugglers Rochdale in the first round, collected their only league point of the season against Accrington Stanley, and their only win to date was against the Under-21s ofLeicester City.
Burton will face 15th-ranked Fleetwood Town at home on Saturday with former boss Maamria in charge.
