It took Erling Haaland just four games to hit his first hat-trick for Manchester City in their win over Crystal Palace.

The City player will have a quick reunion with his former team after they were drawn in the group stage of the European competition.

The first game of City's season is at Sevilla this week, but next week they'll be playing at home against the Germans.

Haaland has scored 27 goals in 25 appearances for three different clubs in the European club competition, and is hoping to continue his good form for City.

Haaland will face the team he left this summer to join Barcelona in the group stage.

After playing Czech side Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday, Barcelona and Lewandowski head to Munich on Tuesday. The toughest group in this season's competition is made up of Italian teams.

Sadio Mane has scored five goals in seven appearances in the German league and cup in place of the injured Robert Lewandowski.
