The Apple Watch Pro could feature physical buttons on the left-hand side of the screen, according to an image leaked by Sonny Dickson.
Aimed at athletes and hikers, the new Apple Watch Pro is expected to feature a hard titanium design with a larger screen, but until now rumors did not mention the inclusion of new buttons on the device.
If the cases prove accurate, the inclusion of the new controls would make sense since they are more responsive in rainy weather and athletes prefer buttons.
The Digital Crown and Side buttons on the right side of the screen are larger than on other Apple Watches. It's not clear where the speaker outlets would be.
The shape of the accessory case and earlier images of similar cases suggest that the Apple Watch will have a flatter screen and a more rounded body.
The Apple Watch Series 8 is expected to retain the same design as the current Series 7, but the Apple Watch Pro will be more expensive. The new "Pro" watch could be priced between $900 and $1,000, according to Mark Gurman.
Gurman thinks the Apple Watch Pro will work with older Apple Watches. At Apple's "Far Out" media event on Wednesday, there are expected to be two new devices announced.
