The summer transfer window is over. There is a lot of gossip about who is moving where. Transfer Talk keeps you up to date on all the latest gossip.

TOP STORY: Bayern plot move for Kane next summer

The summer transfer window did not result in a move for Harry Kane, but that won't stop the club from renewing their interest in the Englishman in the years to come.

With Kane's contract at Spurs set to expire in four years, the Bundesliga champion are hoping that he doesn't sign a contract extension, so that they can sign him next summer.

The departure of Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona has left the side without an out-and-out forward.

The club will wait for Kane to enter the final year of his contract before making a move for him, as he is yet to win a trophy at club or international level.

A new move for Roberto Firmino could be on the cards in January, according to a report by the ECHO.

Firmino was the subject of interest from the Italian club in the summer. The boss wanted to keep the Brazilian at the club.

The forward will be out of contract at the end of the season, but he will be able to negotiate a precontract agreement as of January 1. There is a chance that the player could be taken to Italy in January in a cut-price deal.

The option of a permanent move was not included as part of his loan switch to Marseille, according to the defender.

He has scored three goals in his first six appearances and will play for the French club in the 2022-23 season.

I don't know if it was a problem of competition, but for me, that's not even the point. I wanted to be able to play in my position.

I wanted to have an option to buy, but the club wouldn't let me do that. We always wanted this option with my agents.

I'm happy now that I'm at OM. I wouldn't have played in the cup if I'd been there. I came to Marseille to play in my position, in the league, and in the cup.

Costa, who scored 52 goals in 89 appearances for the Blues, is a free agent after he terminated his contract at Brazilian club Atleti Mineiro.

There will be another approach for Gakpo in January. Jesse Marsch's side have made the 23-year-old their priority target for the winter transfer window but there will be plenty of competition. Gakpo has six goals and three assists in five appearances so far this season.

Kane, as well as Barcelona's Gavi, are also being watched by the Germans. If he doesn't sign a new contract with Barcelona, the 18-year-old will be free to speak to other clubs. Since graduating from the club's academy, he has become a key part of the side.

The interest from clubs across Europe for Antonio Conte's signature was so great that he had to quickly acquire Udogie. It looks as though the loan back to Udinese of the 19-year-old wing-back was a key part of the deal.

According to Calciomercato, the Reds tried to sign Denis Zakaria before signing Arthur Melo. The Reds tried to get the 25-year-old Switzerland international to join them in Italy. Arthur joined the Reds on a loan deal for 4m, with an option to sign him on a permanent basis for a further 37.5m.
