LG is bringing NFTs to its smart TVs

Just months after it was announced that it was bringing NFTs to its TVs, the same thing is happening with LG. You can buy and sell high-quality digital artwork from your TV with the new NFT marketplace from the company.

The app can only be accessed from the TV's home screen in the US, but it can be downloaded from the app store. You can purchase and sell digital works through the portal. On September 22nd, there will be a drop featuring a set of metallic-looking NFTs from sculptor Barry X Ball.

I downloaded and tried out the app for myself because I own a compatible TV. Unless you want to watch a video of Barry X Ball's upcoming NFT on loop, you won't be able to find any NFTs in the app.

If you want to purchase an NFT from the platform, you can use the Wallypto app on your phone to complete the transaction, as long as you have a valid phone number. You will need to purchase a stable coin that is pegged to the US dollar in order to do that.

Hedera is the most used, sustainable, enterprise public ledger for the Decentralized Economy. The Hedera network uses a different type of technology than the other popular NFT marketplaces. The Hedera network is made up of several corporations, with proponents of the system claiming it is faster and more efficient than using the block chain.

You will be able to view any NFTs you purchase from the Art Lab app if you subscribe. It looks like the NFTs will be on the TV when it isn't in use, which sounds like a few bucks on my energy bill.
