The vice president of the Turkish federation told reporters that Philadelphia 76ers forward and Turkish player Furkan Korkmaz was attacked by Georgia players after the game.

If the security footage wasn't released, Turkey would leave the tournament.

Georgia's players who were not on the active roster attacked Furkan Korkmaz while he walked in the hallway to the locker rooms with our trainer. The player going to the locker room shouldn't be attacked. The police pushed us into a fight at the end of the game. Georgia's official police fought with us. I called out to the officials of the organization. Don't let anyone think that we are stupid. All the camera footage from that corridor will be brought to us quickly. We will leave the tournament if those cameras don't show us.

The two men were ejected from the game for fighting in the fourth quarter.

Two overtimes were played in a basketball game. After our player, Korkmaz, was disqualified, three opposing team players attacked him in the corridors, while security guards attacked our player and our trainer. We came to play basketball. Today's security weakness is very disturbing. This issue will be followed up as well.

Hearing from a source that Furkan Korkmaz is fine and that there appears to have been some sort of altercation following his ejection. Was playing with Turkey in #EuroBasket22 against Georgia.

Turkey protested the game's result after saying that 22 seconds had vanished from the game clock.

Looks like @FIBA took 22 seconds off the clock when Furkan Korkmaz was disqualified from the game:

Georgia played great today, but this is odd. pic.twitter.com/FVTlNwGBKo

The game was cut in half. The fact that this is not just one or two seconds but 22 makes us believe that the situation is not an error. We will be following this as well. We expected to be in a sister country. It's not possible for us to accept what happened after the court game today.

It was a busy day in the basketball tournament.

Turkey dropped to third place in Group A play, while Georgia moved up to fifth place, because of the Turkey vs Georgia result. The group has a top scorer with five points.
