Boseman won an award for his voice-acted work in What If... He was nominated for the first time and won the award.
During the Creative Arts ceremony, the award was given out. Boseman won the award for his portrayal of T'Challa in the show that imagined alternate reality. Boseman's wife accepted the award on his behalf.
One of the last things he would do was revisit a character that was so important to him and his career and to the world, but also that it be an exploration of something new, diving into a new potential future.
Boseman died of colon cancer at the age of 43.
He played the role of T'Challa in the movie Black Panther. There is a trailer for the second installation of Black Panther. According to the trailer, T'Challa would be dead in the series, but it's not clear which character will take on the role. The film is going to be released in November.
