At the annual film festival Butt-Numb-a-Thon in Austin, Texas, in 2007, director Mike Dougherty screened his film, Trick 'r Treat. The film was delayed for two years before it was finally released in December 2009. It was dumped onto DVD and became a cult classic. The film will be given its due on the silver screen as it is 15 years old.
The original Halloween, Scream 2, and The Lost Boys will be playing in theaters in October. You can see the film if you haven't seen it before. Sam is a trick or treater with a woven sack over his head. Anna Paquin and Brian Cox are two of the cast members of Succession and True Blood.
The film will be shown at the cinema on October 6th. It is not known if the film will be shown at AMC or Cinemark. Hopefully the turnout will be worth it with how popular horror films are during October. It is possible that it will help get that sequel going.
