Lithuania protests double-OT loss to Germany at EuroBasket after free throw not awarded on technical foul

Lithuania protested its double-overtime loss to Germany at the EuroBasket tournament on Sunday because referees did not award it a free throw.

It was not clear what the response would be.

It's a big win for the hosts. A game that was tight throughout, with neither team ever leading by more than nine points, was won by Germany by a final score of109-107.

Coach Maksvytis said that they were not happy.

Bosnia and HerzegovINA are from Slovakia.

Bosnia and Herzegovina shocked Luka Doncic and the defending EuroBasket winner by defeating them by a score of 2-0.

Miralem Halilovic scored 13 for the victors.

Doncic had 18 points, eight rebound and eight assists, but he was 0 for 8 from 3-point range. Goran Dragic led the way with 20 points, followed by Klemen Prepelic with 12 and Mike Tobey with 11.

The game was tied at one point before Montenegro went on an 18-6 run to win.

Bojan Dubljevic and Drobnjak each had 17 points for Montenegro.

Bulgaria missed eight of its last 10 shots after leading 75- 73 in the fourth. The game featured 64 shots and 40 of them from 3-point range.

Group C and Group D go back to their seats. Group A and Group B are given a day off.

Ukraine will look to stay perfect when it faces Italy. Greece, which has won its two games by a combined eight points, plays Great Britain in Milan on Monday.

Serbia, Israel, Poland and the Czech Republic are in the same group.

There are 12 games on the schedule. The round of 16 takes place in Berlin on Saturday.
