The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power doesn't have an audience yet. The series dropped in an effort to prevent review bombing, a practice in which people flood a show with negative comments.

The goal is to get rid of the reviews that are posted in bad faith. The Rings of Power has a diverse cast and the internet troll is not happy about that. According to Variety, user reviews on Amazon have been put under a delay of 72 hours.

Variety wrote that each critique is then evaluated to determine whether it's genuine or a forgery created by a bot, troll or other breed of digital goblin. The review period will end on Sunday.

Since the announcement of The Rings of Power, the show has contended with the more sinister side of the internet. While Amazon has paused reviews on the show, other websites have shown a huge difference between users and professional reviewers.

The show has an approval rating from the critics. The audience score is 38 percent despite the show pulling in a lot of viewers. A lot of user reviews post under the guise of the show disrespecting the work of J.R.R. A person who left a half-star review wrote "terrible acting, all the token characters and PC correctness is nauseatingly bad"

The show did everything but disrespect the author. The show was called a "stunning, meticulously crafted love letter to J.R.R.
