Despite opening the new season with back-to-back defeats, Ten Hag's team are currently in fifth place in the table.

At a news conference, Ten Hag said that they were at the beginning of a process. We need to start doing things better than we are. If you want to win a trophy, we have to improve.

There were two goals scored by United, one by Antony and the other by MarcusRashford.

Antony scored his first goal for the club on his debut, while MarcusRashford scored twice in nine minutes in the second half to take his tally for the season to three goals.

Ten Hag said that they both played well. Our offence is creative and has speed. This is the first time they have played together.

After the VAR encouraged the referee to take a second look at the monitor, Mikel Arteta was left to rue the decision to rule out an early goal from Gabriel Martinelli. Arteta was displeased with the decision to punish Odegaard for his challenge on Christian Eriksen.

Arteta said that they said it was a soft foul. Consistency is the key. We don't have anything we can do now.

We weren't able to win the game. The game was ready to be taken. We haven't won it because we weren't ruthless enough in front of the goal.
