The Weeknd Loses Voice During Concert and Cancels Show

The Weeknd barely got started performing the second of his 2 sold-out shows when he lost his voice.

When the band started playing "Can't Feel My Face," the stadium was full of 70,000 people. The Weeknd was not present.

He was trying to figure out what to do because he had no voice. He yelled something and it blew out his vocal cords.

There was no Weeknd in sight as the audience didn't know what was going on. The show had to end because he had no voice after the song ended.

He fought back tears as he said, "I can't give you the concert I want to give you" and promised that everyone would get their money back.

The Weeknd apologized profusely and cried. He knew how important this show was to his fans.

Weeknd was applauded by the entire crowd for being transparent.

The Weeknd said he was devastated after his voice went out during the first song. My heart stopped when I felt it go. It will be up to you with a new date.

The tour was delayed twice before because of the Pandemic.
