Glenn Kirschner, a former federal prosecutor, thinks Donald Trump should be arrested immediately.

It's not clear where the contents of each empty folder are.

Kirschner wondered if Trump had sold or given away some of the government documents.

Donald Trump may have illegally taken the classified documents from the White House. What did he do with them? He may have sold them to America's enemies. Is he a blackmailer? He might have used them to leverage a favorable business deal. We are not sure yet.

According to a legal expert who runs a law firm that specializes in national security, it is possible that Trump gave away the documents.

The executive director of National Security Counselors warned that the most optimistic scenario was that they were nowhere to be found.

According to court records, the FBI investigated the former president's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida and recovered several boxes containing classified records that Trump took with him from the White House. Sonam Sheth reported that some of the boxes were marked as top secret.

The records should have been handed over to the agency after he left office.

The Justice Department is looking into the matter of the handling of government documents. If he is convicted of violating the Espionage Act, a law that dates back to World War I, he could be sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Trump said that he had declassified the documents. Everyone ends up having to bring home their work at times.

Trump should be taken into custody immediately.

He said there was no valid argument against arresting Donald Trump.
