There are rings of power.

Amazon

This new version of Galadriel, who is portrayed as a fierce elven warrior hunting Sauron to the ends of the earth, has caused a lot of controversy.

They don't like how different she is from the Jackson trilogy version because they think she was never supposed to be that way.

There is a problem. The fans of the author have not read as much as they could.

In addition to the fact that Galadriel is thousands of years old, and likely picked up a sword from time to time, there are specific passages that describe her fighting.

A lot of references were summed up by Spyson.

The account of Galadriel's argument with the sons of Fanor at sack of Alqualond. How did she fight?

She fought heroically, according to unfinished tales.

There is a morbid note against the passage about the involvement of the second host in the fighting.

She fought against Feanor even after the assault on the Teleri and the rape of their ships. Her pride was unwilling to return, a defeated suppliant for pardon, but now she burned with desire to follow Feanor with her anger to whatever lands he might come.

There is a movie called Lord of the Rings.

New Line

It is not the thousands-year old elf that is among the most powerful and strong characters in the entire cast, it is the character of MarySue. At one point, Galadriel was described as a "Amazonian", which is the version we are seeing in the show.

This is absolutely stupid. It's a combination of sexism and betrayal, where it's your typical crowd of dudes who think any woman being portrayed as a warrior is a joke, and then at least some of them think it's a betrayal of the Jackson trilogy. I don't think we'll be able to quote a lot of book passages at people if we get past this.
