HBO might have just rejected the Naomi Watts-starring Game of Thrones prequel series, , but that doesn't mean there's not another in the works. As CNN reports, Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon is coming and it's all about the Targaryens.
The series will tell the story of the dragon wielding family and will take place 300 years before Emilia Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen first graced our screens in the original series.
The narrative will be based on George R.R. Martin's Fire & Blood novel. Martin co-created the series alongside Ryan Condal, who will serve as showrunner along with Miguel Sapochnik. All three will act as executive producers with Vince Geradis.
