Chapman is going to be on the injured list.

The manager told reporters before the game that Chapman had gotten a tattoo and was getting sick.

He has been on the injured list before. He was on the injured list for 15 days and missed 38 games before returning on July 2.

Chapman is having a hard time finding a rhythm this season. In 36 games, he's earned nine saves and has a 4.70 earned run average.

He has been with the Yankees for a long time. He was traded from New York to the Chicago Cubs in the summer of 2016 before being re-signed by them in the fall.

If he can't agree on an extension in the Bronx, he'll be an unrestricted free agent after the 2020 campaign.

A bit of a lull came after the All-Star break for the Yankees. The top spot in the American League East is theirs to lose as they have a 78-47 record.
