In the summer of 2015, it was announced that Sony was going to make a small screen adaptation of its sci-fi franchise. It sounds like a game and a TV concept, and Sony wants to test that idea. Thanks to some news earlier in the week, we know who will be running the show.

Steve Blackman will be the showrunner for the series, according to Deadline. She created Lost Girl and Killjoys, both of which were created during the 2010s. The shows ran for five years.

The fourth season of The Umbrella Academy will be the last one for Blackman. Blackman will serve as co-creator and writer for both this and a thriller series called Orbital, which was created by the Lynch brothers, as part of a multi-year deal he made with the streaming service. Blackman wrote in a statement to Deadline that the characters that fans will love and relate to are hallmarks of Irish Cowboy production.

The world of man and machine created by Guaerrilla Games is lush and vivid. He confirmed that Aloy will be the show's main character. The show will be live-action. The production crew would use the newest technologies to bring the mechanical beasts to life.

The original Horizon Zero Dawn was a hit with reviewers and sales, and the sequel was released earlier this year. There is a lot of crazy sci-fi nonsense in the two games that could make a show potentially interesting. There is a good track record with video game shows, but not with other genres. This could be a great success, but it could also be a short one.
