President Joe Biden poked at Donald Trump over his claims that he previously declassified the documents that were retrieved by the FBI during the Mar-a-Lago raid.

Biden dismissed the assertion that Trump had declassified them all when asked by a reporter.

Everything in the world has been declassified by me. Shortly before he left the White House, Biden said he could do it.

I am not going to say anything. I don't know what's going on. I don't want to hear anything. He said he would let the Justice Department take care of it.

Biden was asked if it was ever acceptable for a president to take home classified documents, and he suggested that it might be fine in certain circumstances.

He told reporters that he was not sure.

He said that he has a cabined off space in his home that is completely secure. I'm going to take home today's PDB. It isn't open. A person is with me. I locked it up and gave it to the military.

Biden said that it was dependent on the level of security when it came to handling such documents.

He said that it depends on the documents and how secure they are.

Biden has previously stated that he was not told in advance of the Mar-a-Lago raid.

The Department of Justice released an affidavit that stated why the FBI requested a search warrant for Trump's home.

An FBI agent wrote that there is probable cause to believe that more documents containing classified national defense information or Presidential records are still at the premises. Evidence of obstruction is likely to be found at the premises.

The Justice Department probe is not related to the White House.

On Friday, the White House press secretary once again made that point.

She said that it was not appropriate for them to comment on the allegations.

The investigation is being led by the Department of Justice. The president believes that it is important for the Department of Justice to have independence. She said they were not going to comment.

According to the release of the Mar-a-Lago search warrant and property list, FBI agents were looking for documents related to the Espionage Act, which bars the unauthorized removal of defense-related information that could aid a foreign government. The president is being investigated for possible obstruction of justice.

Over a dozen former Trump White House officials have disputed the former president's claims that the documents were declassified.
