A leak of potential branding for Microsoft's upcoming Xbox Game Pass family subscription suggests you'll be able to share a subscription with friends as well. Aggiornamenti Lumia spotted the "Game Pass Friends & Family" branding while leaking information about Microsoft's testing of its Game Pass family plan.
There is a chance that Microsoft isn't thinking about limiting the benefits of the Game Pass to immediate family members. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can pay 21.99 per month in Ireland for an unnamed test plan that includes sharing subscription benefits with up to four other people. People need to be in the same country in order to be part of Microsoft's test plan.
The PC Game Pass is available for $9.99 a month. You can upgrade to the Ultimate version of the game for $14.99 and get online access, as well as other perks.
All of the same benefits for four other friends or family members will be included in the new family plan. Access to the PC Game Pass versions of games is also included.
We reached out to Microsoft to let them know about the leak.
