Elon Musk says shutting down nuclear power plants is 'insane' for national security and 'anti-human'

Musk said some environmentalists were anti-human for advocating the shutting down of nuclear power plants.

In an interview with Insider, Musk said he wanted to be clear. Nuclear power plants should not be shut down, but they should be reopened. Those are the ones with the most energy produced. If you are in a place where there are no natural disasters, it's crazy to shut down a nuclear power plant.

It's more of a question mark if you're in a place where earthquakes happen. There is no danger with the nuclear power plants if there is no huge natural disaster risk.

Nuclear energy was vital until other sources like solar became more reliable, and that shutting down plants was madness according to Musk.
