The structural audit report of Emerald Court andATS Green Village societies have been cleared by the Central Building Research Institute.
After a meeting of all the stakeholders, chaired by NOIDA CEO Ritu Maheshwari, the announcement was made.
The preparation for the demolition of the Twin Tower takes center stage.
The steps that are being taken to mitigate dust and air pollution were outlined at the meeting. Six manual ambient air quality monitoring stations have been installed by theUPPCB. Three AQI monitoring stations will feed live data to the authority.
The authority will put anti-smog guns at 15 places and attach a water tanker to each of them. There are four mechanical sweeping machines in the authority's possession. 50 water tanker will be used to clean the road, footpath, central verge and plants/ trees. Three tanker trucks have been arranged by the department to clean trees in parks.
The demolition of the Twin Towers is complete.

The authority's Sector 80 construction and demolition waste plant will be able to process around 28,000 metric tones of debris. The debris will be taken to the plant.
The no-fly zone around the illegal twin towers of Supertech was declared by the MoCA on the recommendation of the NOIDA.
The 103-metre-tall, 40-storey Supertech twin towers in Noida were declared illegal on August 31, 2021. The court had ordered the demolition of the towers for violating building norms in “collusion” with Noida officials. The demolition of the towers -- Apex and Ceyane – will be counted among the tallest buildings ever to be demolished in a controlled explosion.
