The company has reached a settlement with the people who sued it over the Cambridge Analytica data privacy scandal, which means that Mark and Mrs. Sandberg won't be giving hours of depositions. According to a court filing, the parties have reached an agreement in principle and requested a stay of 60 days to complete their written agreement. They would have been deposed without the settlement and stay.

There are no details about the terms of the agreement in the document you can read below. Meta, as the company is now known, declined to comment, while the lawyers for the lawsuit have yet to respond. It is worth a lot of money to Meta to keep things from going any further.

Instead of going under oath in front of opposing counsel about the details of what happened within his company around the time of the election, he will only have to answer questions from Joe Rogan.

The company didn't adequately protect that data from being abused by bad actors according to the lawsuit. The scandal surrounding Cambridge Analytica, a firm hired by the Trump campaign that was able to steal data from millions of Facebook profiles, didn't get much help from Congress in the year that ended.
