  • A YouTuber managed to turn his Galaxy Z Fold 4 into a Windows Phone.
  • He used a combination of two Android launchers and Bixby Routines to make it work.
  • The process isn't perfect, but it appears to work surprisingly well, considering.

Some users are finding innovative ways to personalize their experience with the new foldables phones from SAMSUNG. One person has transformed his device into a Windows phone.

Mark Spurrell shows us the process of getting his new phone to look like a Windows phone on the outside and a full Windows PC on the inside. It may seem like a lot of work, but according to Spurrell, it can be done in two easy steps.

The folding phone has the Windows Phone tiles on it. Spurrell shows how they can be changed to match what you would see on a Windows Phone. Spurrell is able to modify gestures to make it easier to access functions.

The experience on the inside is different. The Z Fold 4 opens to a Windows 10 like desktop with a start menu that lists all your apps. There is a full panel for settings and notifications that replaces the pull-down notification shade on the left side of the screen.

Spurrell notes that the process isn't perfect because of the phone's constant switch between launcher. He's pretty impressed with the experience and he says it's not as bad as he thought.
