According to sources, Manchester United are considering making an improved bid for Antony after an earlier offer was rejected.

After a 80m offer was turned down, United increased their bid, but it wasn't enough to get them to agree to a deal.

According to sources, United are either going to make another bid or look at other targets.

A number of players, including PSV Eindhoven's Gakpo, Christian Pulisic, and Marcus Thuram, are on the radar of the coach.

The 22-year-old will stay at the club this season despite the fact that he wants to move to Old United, according to sources.

The player made public his desire to move to Old Manchester.

In a meeting with the club, he expressed his interest in leaving, only this time with a large offer on the table. The others had already arrived. They argued that they only have five days to find a new person.

I'm not asking Ajax to let me go, I'm asking them to sell me to the highest bidder. Since February, I've been demanding that the team be rebuilt with peace of mind.

Sources say Gakpo is worth between 40m and 50m by PSV. There is interest from other clubs.

At a news conference on Friday, Ten Hag said he hoped to make additions to his squad before the end of the window.

He said that they needed players, but they needed the right players.

We are happy with what we have done but the bar has to be higher.

According to Ten Hag, Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe, and Brandon Williams are not fully fit, so they are going to stay at Old Manchester.

"We are talking about players who are not available so I don't think they will leave in this window," he said.
