It is believed that the Blues are close to agreeing a deal with the Foxes for Fofana to join them.

Fofana, who missed last weekend's defeat to Saints due to speculation over his future, will not be available for Saturday's game against the Blues.

The player was training with the club's U23s after failing to show up for a training session last week.
Rodgers said that he wouldn't be available for the weekend and had trained with the U23 squad.

Sky Sports News described the additional payments as "ambitious", despite the fact that the offer was thought to be £60m.
Two previous bids in excess of $60m were rejected.
