Sean Hannity criticized President Joe Biden's plan to forgive some student debt after he acknowledged that it would benefit some of his own staffers.

The announcement that certain borrowers earning less than $125,000 annually may be forgiven up to $20,000 in student loan debt was denounced by conservatives and Fox News hosts.

Fox News employees may be able to have some of their debt canceled, according to Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Middle class people are likely to benefit the most. Do you think about it? You get out of college and don't make a lot of money. A lot of the young people that work on my show aren't making a lot of money. They are now able to get in up to $20,000 in some cases. This is the new green deal.

Sean Hannity: "We have a lot of young people that work on my TV show, they're not making a $125,000. They're now eligible to get in some cases up to $20,000 and in other cases $10,000. This is New Green Deal radical socialism." pic.twitter.com/05AtodIMSk

No one in the top 5% of wage-earners will get relief dollars according to the White House.

Biden said people can finally get out of debt if they start thinking about buying a home or starting a business. The economy is better off when this occurs.

Wednesday's commentary was on-brand for Hannity, who has previously made headlines for warning that tax hikes would prevent rich people from remodeling their homes, and suggesting that poor people should be thankful that rich people can give them jobs.
