While acknowledging that she never had to borrow money for her education because her family paid for it, Jeanine Pirro called President Joe Biden's cancellation of some student loan debt "disgusting".

She said, "My heart bleeds for the people who went out and paid for their loans, who went without things, and their families said, 'I'm sorry, we can't afford your loans.'"

She said that her family paid for her education. They had better things to do with their money. They paid for the loans, so I didn't have to take out loans. They worked hard to make ends meet. This is not a good thing.

The cancellation of up to $20,000 in student loan debt was announced by Biden. Student loan repayments will continue to be frozen until January.

The president said at the White House that people can finally get out of debt and think about starting a family or buying a home. The economy is better off when this occurs.
