The nature of college football has largely remained the same over the past few seasons as a result of the transfer portal and conference realignment. It's difficult to find a program that could challenge Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State for a spot in the College Football Playoffs. An expanded playoff can't get here soon enough for fans of the 127 other teams in the Bowl Championship Series. Here are predictions for each of the Power 5 conferences as the college football season begins. It was 11-1 for the team. The NC State basketball team won 10-2 Louisville scored 8 points. Wake Forest has a 4-7 record. Florida State is 3-6. Boston College has a 3-6 record. Syracuse is 4-7 and 0-6. The Miami team went 9-1 and 6-1. Pittsburgh scored 8 points. North Carolina scored eight points in a game. Virginia went 3-6. Virginia Tech has a 3-6 record. Georgia Tech has a 3-6 record. Duke is 2-10-0. The champion of the Atlantic Coast Conference is CLEMSON.

There are three predictions for the conference.
This is the first thing. Even though they had a bit of a rebuild last season, they still won 10 games for the 11th straight year, which shows how solid the foundation is. It's going to be difficult to do it without Venables, who left for Oklahoma, and Elliott, who went to Virginia. In the opening game of the 2021 season, Georgia exposed the offensive problems of the team. The Tigers are going to have a menacing defensive line.
There are two The U is back. In the past 18 years, the college football team that dominated the sport from the mid 1980s to the mid 1990s has only won 10 games. The decision to remove the Turnover Chain is proof that former Oregon coach Mario Cristobal is trying to instill substance over hype. Since joining the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2004, the Hurricanes have only won the Coastal Division once. Miami will defeat Pittsburgh at home in the regular-season finale to win the division.
There are three. Florida State hasn't played in a bowl game in four years, but they have played in 28 straight since 1982. Even though their record didn't reflect it, the Seminoles were better last year. They allowed Notre Dame to beat them twice, and then lost to Jacksonville State. Things began to spiral downhill. With seven home games and an improved offensive line, FSU should be able to get to 6/6 or better.
Oklahoma had a 10-2 record.
A 6-3 win for the Bears.
Oklahoma State defeated Oklahoma State by a final score of 6-3.
The state of Texas was 5-5.
Kansas State scored five times.
Iowa State has a 3-6 record.

Conference game of the year: Baylor at Oklahoma, Nov. 5
Upset of the year: TCU over Oklahoma, Oct. 1
There are three predictions for the Big 12.
This is the first thing. In Steve Sarkisian's first season at Texas, the Longhorns lost six games in a row and finished with a 4-7 record. Texas is still a year or two away from being able to compete for a conference title. It might be difficult for Ewers to get along with the offensive line. The Longhorns will finish the season with a.500 record.
There are two Daniels will throw 30 touchdown passes at West Virginia, according to Brown. Football smarts and talent have never been questioned by Daniels. He won the starting job at USC but couldn't stay healthy. This is the last chance for him to prove that he's more than just Tate. West Virginia is in the hunt for a bowl game with Daniels throwing more than 30 touchdown passes. Georgia fans will still be questioning why Smart chose Bennett over Daniels by the end of the season.
There are three. Robinson, Texas' star running back, is the best NFL prospect in the league and a legitimate Heisman trophy candidate. Texas' offensive line may not be very good. Junior Angilau was lost to a season-ending knee injury in preseason camp. He ran for 1,404 yards with 468 receiving yards and 22 total touchdown. He could put up bigger numbers this year.
The Ohio State men's basketball team won 11-1
The University of Michigan has a 10-2 record.
Penn State won nine times.
Michigan State won by a final score of 1-8.
The state of Maryland is 4-7.
Rutgers went 4-7.
Indiana has a 4-7 record.
Wisconsin has a 10-2 record.
The Minnesota baseball team went 9-1 and 6-3.
The Iowa team went 4-7.
They were 4-7.

Coordinator who will be a head coach: Jim Leonhard, defensive coordinator, Wisconsin
Nonconference game of the year: Notre Dame at Ohio State, Sept. 3
Conference game of the year: Michigan at Ohio State, Nov. 26
Upset of the year: Purdue over Penn State, Sept. 1
There are three predictions for the Big Ten.
This is the first thing. If he picks up from where he left off in 2020, he will return to New York as a finalist for the award. He completed 71.9% of his passes for 4,435 yards, with 44 touchdown and six pick ups. He should be better in his second year as a starter. Either Henderson, who ran for 1,248 yards with 15 scores as a freshman, or Smith-Njigba, who had 95 catches for 1,606 yards with nine touchdown, will get to New York. If Ohio State's offense is as good as advertised, all three would be deserving.
There are two One of Nebraska's favorite sons, Scott Frost's tenure at his alma mater has been a disaster. The Cornhuskers haven't made a bowl game in four years and he hasn't done anything to change that. He took a $1 million salary reduction and his buyout will be halved after October 1. The Cornhuskers will start the year with a bang, but they will be plagued by penalties and turnovers the rest of the way. The athletic director will let him go after the loss to the Boilermakers.
There are three. I picked Minnesota to win the West, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the Big Ten title game. Only Navy, Army and Air Force attempted fewer passes in 2021. Kirk Ciarrocca was there when Minnesota won 11 games last year. The Big Ten running back of the year in 2020 is back after tearing his Achilles in the opener.
Utah had a 10-2 record.
USC 10-2, 7-1.
The Oregon team won 1-8, 6-3.
Washington State won by a score of 1-8.
UCLA is 4-7.
Washington was 5-5.
The Oregon State basketball team went 3-6.
The Arizona State football team is 3-6.
The state of California was 3-7.
The team was 3-6.
Arizona has a 3-7 record.
Colorado has a 3-7 record.
Utah is the winner of the Pac-12.
The offensive player of the year is the quarterback.
Defensive player of the year: Noah Sewell, LB, Oregon
Freshman of the year: Lander Barton, LB, Utah
Impact transfer: Jordan Addison, WR, USC
Coach of the year: Kyle Whittingham, Utah
Coach on the hot seat: Herm Edwards, Arizona State
Coordinator who will be a head coach: Alex Grinch, defensive coordinator, USC
Nonconference game of the year: Oregon vs. Georgia, Sept. 3
Conference game of the year: USC at Utah, Oct. 15
Upset of the year: California over Oregon, Oct. 29
There are three predictions for the conference.
This is the first thing. USC won't be playing in a New Year's Six bowl game, but they are going to have a lot of star power this season. USC's offense was brought in to shore up by Riley, who brought in two transfers and a reigning award winner. The offensive line needs work, and the defense needs to be rebuilt because it ranked 11th in scoring defense. The USC will be better, but they will lose to Utah twice.

The Big Ten and the Pac-12 are part of the same league.
There are two UCLA is off to a perfect start under coach Chip Kelly, whose second run in the conference hasn't been as great as his first. In his first four seasons, the Bruins went 18-25, but in his final season, they went 8-4. UCLA will have a lot of offense with quarterback and tailback return. New faces will be present in the offensive line and receiver corps. The Bruins will lose four of their last seven games and finish the season at.500.
There are three. Oregon's Dan Lanning is the best first-year coach, as he helped Georgia end its 41-year national title droughts. The first two games of the season are against Georgia and Washington State. After a 2-2 start, the Ducks will go on to win the Stanley Cup. Bo Nix will send Oregon fans on a roller-coaster ride, but the defense and talented offensive line will carry the load.
Georgia scored 12 points.
Kentucky scored 9 points.
The state of Tennessee is 4-7.
The state of South Carolina is 4-7.

The Texas A&M baseball team won 6-3.
Arkansas scored 8 points.
LSU is 4-7.
The Ole Miss football team went 5-5.
Mississippi State has a 3-6 record.
It was 4-7, 3-6 in auburn.
The SEC champ is Alabama.
Offensive player of the year: Bryce Young, QB, Alabama
Defensive player of the year: Will Anderson, LB, Alabama
Freshman of the year: Walter Nolen, DL, Texas A&M
Impact transfer: Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Alabama (Georgia Tech)
Coach of the year: Nick Saban, Alabama
Coach on the hot seat: Bryan Harsin, Auburn
Coordinator who will be a head coach: Glenn Schumann, defensive coordinator, Georgia
Nonconference game of the year: Alabama at Texas, Sept. 10
Conference game of the year: Texas A&M at Alabama, Oct. 8
Upset of the year: Ole Miss over Texas A&M, Oct. 29
There are three predictions for the SEC.
This is the first thing. Two years ago, I predicted that Alabama would defeat Georgia in the SEC Championship game and that Hurts would come off the bench to save the Tide. I predicted a year ago that Georgia would lose to Alabama in the SEC title game but avenge that loss in the national championship game. The teams will both be perfect in the regular season. The SEC championship game will be won by the Alabama team on the catch by Burton.
There are two The most anticipated game of the season will be the Alabama-Texas A&M game in October. Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher ripped his mentor, Alabama's Nick Saban, for suggesting that the A&M's top recruit class was the result of money from the NIL. Fisher will be reminded that he is still the boss when the former friends hug out at the middle of the field before the game.
There are three. The Gators and Volunteers used to play in one of the most heated and competitive rivalries in college sports. With Steve Spurrier poking Tennessee whenever he could, it was one of the most anticipated games in the SEC and went a long way towards deciding the SEC East champion. The Gators have won 16 of their last 17 games against the Volunteers. The only victory during that time was by Tennessee. Josh Heupel will get his first win over Florida when the Volunteers host the Gators in September.
