The INS Vikrant is the first ever aircraft carrier built in India. The ship was built at a cost of over $3.5 billion and was supposed to be commissioned in 2018, but was delayed due to the swine flu.

The INS Vikrant will be the Indian Navy's largest aircraft carrier with a projected displacement of over 50,000 tons. It measures 856 feet in length and194 feet in height and can hold 1,645 people.

The INS Vikrant is described as an "elite" ship by local media. According to India Times, the aircraft carrier is scheduled to operate fighter jets, Kamov-31 helicopter and Seahawk helicopter.

It was built by the shipbuilding industry. The aircraft carrier was put into service in 2019. The first Chinese-made aircraft carrier is calledShandong and is a variant of the Soviet-built Kuznetsov-class aircraft carrier.

There is a full-load displacement of 70,0000 tons on the ship.

The Liaoning aircraft carrier has the same armaments and aircraft as it does.

The two aircraft carriers that make up the class are the Queen Elizabeth and the Prince of Wales. The lead ship was built. The class was built at a cost of over $4 billion.

The aircraft carriers have a displacement of over 67,000 tons. Up to 1,600 crew can be accommodated.

The Phalanx close-in weapon system and US-made M134 miniguns are included in the armament of the ship. It has the ability to carry more than 65 aircraft, including the F-35 fighter jet.

Fujian is the most advanced aircraft carrier in the world. The ship was built by China State Shipbuilding Corporation. It hasn't been commissioned yet.

According to the South China Morning Post, Zhou Chenming, a researcher at Beijing-based think tank, said it would take 18 months of testing before Fujian is combat ready.

The ship has a displacement of 80,000 tons.

The Asia Times reported that Fujian has catapults that can launch larger and heavier aircraft. According to the publication, the aircraft carrier is being used to reinforce the Chinese presence on the eastern side of Taiwan.

The 10 aircraft carriers are all part of the same class. All were built by the same company. The first aircraft carrier in the class was commissioned in 1975, but will be taken out of service in five years.

The nuclear-powered warships have a displacement of 100,000 tons. There is a capacity of 6000 crew.

One of the most powerful aircraft carrier classes is the Nimitz class. The oldest unit in the navy is the ship.

The warships can carry up to 81 aircraft, which include the E-2 Hawkeye aircraft. The weapon system is included in the armament.

The Gerald R. Ford-class is considered to be the US Navy's warships of the future. The Gerald R. Ford was the first aircraft carrier to be constructed. The research and development of the class cost over $32 billion and the construction of each unit cost over $13 billion.

The Gerald R. Ford is the largest ship in the world with a displacement of 112,000 tons. Over 4,500 crew can be on it.

The Gerald R. Ford has a number of surface-to-air missiles and machine guns. It can carry more than 75 aircraft, including the F-35 and Boeing F/A-18E/ F Super Hornet fighter jets.
