83-year-old JoAnne Carner shoots her age at the U.S. Senior Women's Open

The 83-year-old played in the U.S. Senior Women's Open on Thursday. Carner became the oldest woman to play in a USGA championship last year at the age of 81, and she has shot her age or better four times in her career.

Carner was not happy with her performance.

Carner said that the entire swing was off. I was shooting and falling back as I ducked into it.

Carner's accomplishment is the latest in her illustrious career. Carner has won the U.S. Women's Open two times. She has won more USGA titles than any other woman. Tiger Woods has won nine times.

Carner is currently in a tie for 94th place in the field.

Green, a seven-time winner on the LPGA Tour, had a bogey-free first round to take the lead.
