According to the tally conducted on Thursday, workers at the store voted 11 to 3 to unionize.

"We are disappointed that the employees at our Lansing, MI restaurant chose to have a third party speak on their behalf because we still believe that working directly together is best for our employees."

There are five business days to object to the election. The company is required to start bargaining in good faith with the union if they don't file any objections.
