Jokic helped Serbia to a victory over Greece and Antetokounmpo in a clash of two of the best players in the world.

Despite 40 points from Antetokounmpo, the hosts came away with a 100-94 win in overtime.

Jokic paced Serbia with 29 points, 8 rebound and 6 assists. A one-legged jumper at the 3-point line with Antetokounmpo draped over him gave Serbia an 8 point lead with less than two minutes remaining.

Tyler Dorsey, a former Oregon player, hit a 3-pointer with 11 seconds left in the game to force overtime. Jokic scored two baskets in a row in the extra frame to give Serbia a six-point lead.

The first player to hit the 40-point mark in European qualification history was Antetokounmpo, who scored 40 points on 14-of-26 shooting. The hosts supplemented Jokic's effort with 33 points off the bench.

The victory was a big one for Serbia. Turkey and Serbia are tied for fourth place in a group that also includes Greece and Great Britain. Latvia leads the group with 9 points. The top three teams in the group will get to play in the World Cup.

Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks posted a triple-double with 25 points, 11 rebound and 8 assists in a win over Estonia in a European qualification game. Israel is fourth in the group with 10 points and has lost two games.
