The Honor 70 was launched in the UK less than three months after it was announced in China. The price of the phone is going to go from £480 to £530 depending on the amount of storage. Preorders will open tomorrow and both versions will be on sale on September 2nd. Next week, we'll have a full review.
The Honor 70s camera specifications are a lot better balanced than the Honor 50. In December of last year, An Honor 60 was announced in China but never seen a global release. The Honor 70 has a 54-Megahertz main sensor, a 50-Megahertz ultrawide sensor, and a 2-Megahertz depth sensor. The approach will result in a more versatile camera system.
New software features are included. Honor's "Solo Cut Mode" allows you to film a wide shot in landscape while the phone simultaneously films a second video in portrait that can track a subject as they move around the frame. Being able to film from both the phone's rear and selfie cameras at the same time, as well as filming from both the main and ultra wide cameras, is one of the multi video modes supported in the Honor 70’s camera app.
The Honor 70 has the same design as the Honor 50. It has the same dual-camera ring design on its rear and a curved 120HzOLED display with a hole-punch notch. Incremental improvements have been made to its specifications. The screen is larger at 6.67-inches corner to corner, and it is powered by a 778G Plus processor, which is the same one used in the non-plus version. The 4,800mAh battery can be charged at up to 66W charging speeds.
The Honor Pad 8 was launched in China last month as the Honor Tablet 8. There is a 12-inch screen with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 and is powered by a processor. It will be available on September 2nd from either Honor or Amazon in the UK.
