The world of podcasts is about to get a little bit more interesting. As part of its new Spaces tab, the social network is integrating podcasts. A group of global English-speaking audience will be able to see the refreshed Spaces tab on their mobile device.

The redesign introduces personalized hubs for users called "Stations" that group content together based on different topics. Recommendations will be based on the themes and people you follow. Users will be able to access a personalized selection of live and recorded spaces on the micro-messaging service. Most popular podcasts from around the world will be included in the hubs. You can give a thumbs up or thumbs down to a show if you like it.

There are three sections when you open the spaces tab. There are Stations at the top of the tab that show different themes and topics to listen to. Some of the topcurated audio content can be found in the Spaces spotlight. There is a list of upcoming spaces.

It is one way that we are continuing to invest in audio creators. The audio experience in the Spaces Tab was the first thing we did to make this easier to do.

It isn't surprising that the social network has been testing a new addition for a while. Initial tests indicated that a dedicated podcasts tab was in the works, but today's launch shows that this is not the case.

A spokesman for the social network said that the company will gather feedback on the initial test and build out the feature in the future.

The addition of podcasts is part of the plan to give users an all-in-one, personalized audio destination, according to the company.
