UGREEN has a reputation for being a reliable brand when it comes to charging solutions. The Chinese company has an interest in audio gear.

UGREEN's audio products are inexpensive. The UGREEN HiTune T3 ANC earbuds are affordable and provide value for money.

I know UGREEN has the right mix of features and specifications for power solutions. The brand has only three sets of earbuds under its belt. I was curious to see if the HiTune T3 buds would perform as well as the rest of the products from the brand.

The design of UGREEN's HiTune T3 earbuds is easy to understand. The bigger case doesn't slip out of your grip easily. There are three lights on the front and one on the bottom. The hinge is strong and secure.

The form factor of the earbuds is similar to that of popular earbuds. There are three sets of ear tips in the box and a standard charging cable. The lightweight nature of the buds and case made me happy.

The HiTune T3 are very comfortable to wear for a long period of time. They don't feel like they will fall out if you get sweaty or fatigued because they don't weigh much.

Certain controls are triggered by tapping the head of each ear bud. You have the option to pause/play, change tracks, answer/end/decline calls, or change the noise cancellation mode. The UGREEN HiTune T3 earbuds have both ANC and ambient modes. The noise cancelation can be turned off completely.

The HiTune T3 earbuds were put together by UGREEN carefully, with the help of the BES 2500 andBLEAK. Budget brands like Soundpeats prefer the BES 2500 for earbuds as it improves seamless transition and makes noise reduction possible at a lower cost. The ANC on UGREEN's HiTune T3 earbuds cut down on ambient noise by 25 decibels.

There are 10mm dynamic drivers in both earbuds. The sound is heavy on the bass. High levels of clarity can be obtained even at max volume levels. If you like heavy, full-bodied audio, the HiTune T3 are a good choice.

The 10mm dynamic drivers push out lush, punchy sound that is heavy on the bass and delivers high levels of clarity.

The HiTune T3 earbuds are suitable for answering calls even if there is a lot of noise in the background because of the noise reduction technology. The buds have an IPX5 splash proof rating so you can wear them during workouts as well.

These earbuds have a good battery life. From a single charge, you can watch seven hours of video. If you put them back in the case they will increase the total uptime to 24 hours. If you're low on juice, 10 minutes of charging will give you an hour's worth of video. It takes about an hour and a half to charge the earbuds.

UGREEN HiTune T3: What's not good

The overall value prospect is so good that it's hard to fault the UGREEN HiTune T3 earbuds. There are some small flaws. Let's discuss the design of the case first. It gets very dirty very quickly because of its glossy finish.

I don't like the stick shape of the buds and they are snug. I will admit that it's not a big enough factor for me to pass up on such a good deal. The carrying case is large and I wish the buds and the case were smaller.

It makes sense that UGREEN didn't include a companion app because of the cost effectiveness of the wireless earbuds. You can't change the touch controls or play around with the equalizer because of this. You can't change the volume level with the T3 earbuds' touch interface, that's a shame.

Many earbuds that sit in the same price tier as the UGREEN HiTune T3 have a higher rating. For instance, the TOZO T6 costs less than the UGREEN buds, but still has an IPX8 waterproof rating, and has wireless charging.

It's the same situation when it comes to earbuds under $50 as it is when it comes to the charging market. You get around 32 hours of uptime with the TOZO NC2 earbuds, as well as ANC, IPX6 rating, and other features. TOZO's earbuds can charge on top of the usual wired charging.

You can get the Back Bay Audio Tempo 30 earbuds for a few more dollars. Back Bay's budget offering has a solid IPX7 water resistance, and is available in three different colors.

The Soundcore Life P2 Mini earbuds have the same features as the Soundcore Life P2 but have a smaller footprint. The UGREEN HiTune T3 is one of the best earbuds in that category.

UGREEN HiTune T3: Should you buy it?

If you do, you should purchase this.

  • You want excellent ANC.
  • You have a really constricted budget.
  • You like bass-heavy audio.
  • You need ergonomic earbuds.

If you buy this, you should not.

  • You expect flagship features.
  • You need better waterproofing.
  • You want a customizable equalizer.

Good audio quality can be delivered by the UGREEN HiTune T3. You can wear these earbuds while running, taking work calls, or going to the gym while the weather is nice. You won't tire of them in the long run, as the buds don't cause any pain over a long period of time, and they sound great.

It's very difficult to pick out the HiTune T3 earbuds. I am confident that you won't find a similar ANC on any other pair of headphones in this price range, because the active noise cancelation feature works spectacularly well. These are truly wireless earbuds. I will recommend them if you need them.
