Europe has been playing football for a while. Three weeks have passed since the start of the premier league. The term "European football" really comes to mind when the premier clubs square off under the lights on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
The group stage's Matchday 1 is the beginning of every European campaign. The group draw tonight in Istanbul is the beginning of the journey to the final on June 10 in the biggest city in Turkey.

Group A: Rangers.
Group B includes FC Porto, Atltico Madrid, and Club Brugge.
Inter Milan, Barcelona, and Viktoria Plzen are in the group.
Group D is made up of Eintracht Frankfurt, Spurs, and Rennes.
AC Milan, FC Salzburg, and Dinamo Zagreb are in the group.
Group F includes Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, andRB Leipzig.
Group G includes Manchester City, Sevilla, and the Danes.
Group H includes Paris Saint-Germain and others.
The north London club have lost both of their previous meetings with French opponents in the group stage of the European Championship.
The last time Celtic advanced to the round of 16 was in the 2012-13 season. History shows that a draw with Madrid, Leipzig and Shakhtar could suit the Scottish side.
That's it. The group stage draw is done. Now, let's take a closer look at some of the better matches we have in store this autumn.
The return of Erling Haaland and his new club, Manchester City, will take place immediately.
It's also the case for the Barcelona vs. FCB match. Robert is going to face his former club right off the bat.
Pot 2 has some really great battles in the book. This will be the first time that the two teams face each other in the group stage of the competition. The Parisians lost six and drew two.

It looks like we are on the verge of balls being drawn. The teams will be placed in a group.
Arrigo Sacchi was the first award of the day. The President's Award is given to outstanding achievements that surpass the sport of football. Sacchi led Italy to a runner-up finish in the 1994 World Cup after winning back-to-back European Cups.

The draw this year is in Istanbul. Compared to where they traditionally host it, not many media attended. More expensive flight and less Prince Alberts further away.
