Dennis Rodman Reportedly Backs Out Of Brittney Griner Release Mission

After the U.S. government advised against his plans, Dennis Rodman decided not to go to Russia.

Rodman claimed earlier this week that he had permission to go to Russia to try to get the man who was sentenced to nine years in prison back in the US.

The ex-Bulls great was trying to find out how much international interest he had.

The White House made it clear that the Worm wouldn't be allowed to travel on behalf of the U.S. government.

The government felt that Rodman's involvement might mess up the U.S.'s negotiations with Russia to get the basketball player out.

Since her arrest for having cannabis oil in her luggage at the airport, she has been in jail. The U.S. insists she is being wrongly held.
